This was a photo for the Feeding Hope Newsletter I worked on. Our client sent the image on the left, which we placed in the layout as-is. The feedback included a request to blur the background and the second individual, creating a bit more depth of field. After this was completed, I dropped the revised image into the layout and client approval was quick.

The original image (left) for a page in the Sears Riding Equipment catalog was so yellow it was a bit jarring, unfit for catalog placement. I adjusted the colors to remove the excess yellow and highlight the "true" colors of the mower before we dropped the image into the layout (right).
